Seasons Greetings

Hi there lovely people, we hope you're all enjoying the festive season. So... Moonlighting... it was an interesting performance to say the least. It all started when we were told there was only 1 mic !!!! We managed to get hold of a second mic but this stopped working just as our track started, as you can imagine this was a big problem. Four girls hovering over 1 mic that wasn't really picking up all our voices so in the end we just had to sing extra loud over the track and give it the best we could. It was a shame really because we weren't able to execute our stage presence as much as we had rehearsed but hey the show must go on right. We saw it through til the end and ended on an acapella; which must have gone down well as we received a really warm and supportive cheer from the audience. We were ecstatic after our performance when people approached us stating that we still sounded great despite the mic conundrum. :) That really made it all worth it, just to receive positive feedback and knowing that people liked our 'burn' track. We have taken this performance  as a lesson and we'll be working hard to make sure that should this happen again in a performance we have some sort of contingency plan. We wanna say a big thank you to the event co-ordinators down there at Moonlighting, another huge thank you to all our friends that came down to support us, an extra special thank you to our vocal trainer Tom Vella who has been amazing to us and helped us arrange 'burn' and push us to sing from our hearts.

On a jolly note, we're taking a couple weeks to breathe from writing and performing to enjoy Christmas and the New Year with our families, however we have been doing what we do best, talking (lol) and we've got a few really lovely producers and studios lined up which we plan to jump straight into in the new year so we can finally take our adventure as the Roulettz a step further.
